Brand identity, one signature piece, store, first launch
By application only · [N] partnerships per year
Steve Apparel builds complete clothing brands for creators, athletes, artists, musicians, public figures and founders. Not a logo on a blank — a registered label with its own name, identity, product line, store and growth plan, developed by our in-house team and owned by you.
Fully Funded
Up to $50,000
of brand development, trademark, design, sampling, production, store build and launch — funded by us. Not a cash transfer, not a loan, and nothing for you to pay back out of pocket. Most partnerships are funded between [$X] and [$Y].
Applications reviewed within 48 hours. We accept a small number of partners each year.
The difference isn’t the quality of the hoodie. It’s what exists afterwards, and whose name it’s in.
Merch borrows attention you already have. A brand builds something that keeps its own — and that you keep.
It isn’t ambition that stops them. It’s that a clothing brand needs fourteen jobs done properly and most creators can access two of them.
Inside the partnership, all of it is already staffed:
Every partnership is funded end to end. The size of the funding depends on the size of the brand we’re building.

Your tier is set at your private presentation, based on audience, engagement and how ready your community is to buy — not follower count alone.
Most partnerships start at Foundation and move up. We fund the next tier once a collection has proven it sells — which means the brand scales on evidence rather than optimism, and nobody gets over-extended on a first launch.
Every partner comes in differently. Your model is recommended at your private presentation.
No waiting period, no recovery gate, no clawback. Your share starts on the first order the brand ships.
| Line | Amount |
|---|---|
| Retail price, one hoodie | [$XX] |
| Manufacturing, packaging, shipping, processing | [-$XX] |
| Gross profit | [$XX] |
| Your share ([X]%) | [$XX] |
You take [X]% of gross profit on every sale from the day the store opens. We recover what we invested out of our own share, in our own time. That's our risk, not your delay.
Payouts land on the [15th] for the previous month. [10]% is held for [90] days against returns and chargebacks, then released.
Full cost sheets before any product is approved, gross profit itemized in every monthly statement, and the right to audit [annually].
We only make money if the brand keeps selling. That’s deliberate — it’s the whole reason we can afford to hand you the trademark on day one.
Straight answers, before you spend an hour on a presentation.
Registered in your name, not ours. We run the search, handle the filing and pay the fees, and the mark is yours from the day it's filed. While we're recovering the build cost we hold a security interest over it and an exclusive licence to produce and sell under it. Once the build cost is recovered, both fall away and the mark is unencumbered.
Yours. We fund it, build it and run it, and we recover what we spent out of our own share of the profit. The name, the brand and the customer list are yours throughout.
Licensed to the brand while the partnership runs. Within [30] days of it ending, we stop using your name, face and likeness in our own marketing. The brand keeps using them, because the brand is yours.
You keep the brand, the trademark and the customer list. If you leave before the initial [12]-month term is up, whatever we haven't recovered of the build investment becomes repayable, and our security interest over the mark stays registered until it's cleared. Complete the term and the mark is unencumbered, whatever happens next.
Our strategists develop the concept, the name and the positioning with you. Plenty of partners arrive with a clear point of view and no brand.
Restraint as the whole design language. Quiet product, loud intent.
For those whose message is bigger than clothing
Built around repetition — heavy weights, tight construction, no decoration.
For training, routine and self-mastery
Pieces made to outlast the season, and priced to be kept.
For heritage, family and the long game
We review your audience, your positioning and what a brand around your name could be.
We present the brand concept, the funding tier and the model we'd recommend. You take it away and think.
Name, identity, positioning and trademark, filed in your name. This is where a brand separates from merch.
Our designers develop the range. Physical samples in your hands before anything is produced.
We manufacture, photograph, build the store, stock it and ship it. You launch to your audience.
Next collection, expanded categories, new markets. We plan in seasons, not drops.
Your brand growing is our factory growing. That’s the whole reason this exists.
We’re not a merch platform taking a cut of a trend. We make our money when your brand is still producing collections in year three — which means the only version of this that works for us is the version that works for you. It’s also why we’re comfortable putting the trademark in your name: a partner who owns something behaves like an owner.
A brand-building partner.
Fourteen deliverables, not a garment.
We don’t do this with every influencer. We do it with people who’ve built something around a name — because a brand needs a reason to exist beyond a follower count.
An audience that trusts your taste and buys what you stand behind.
Discipline and performance translate directly into product, and your career gives the brand a story.
You already make visual work. A clothing line is another surface for it.
Your audience wears what they listen to. Always have.
A recognised name and a message worth putting on record.
You understand what building takes. This one comes fully funded.
This isn’t a public programme. Every partnership is decided one at a time.
It’s fully funded. That doesn’t make it free of obligation. Here’s the honest list.
Your name goes on the product, and now the trademark too. If it's bad, that's your problem. Which is why nothing ships without your written approval.
An initial [12]-month term with an agreed posting rhythm, renewable both ways. Leave early and the unrecovered build investment becomes repayable. Consistent no-shows end it, after [30] days' notice.
We manufacture exclusively for the brand during the term. No competing apparel line while the agreement runs. Everything else you do is untouched.
We fund the next collection when the last one sells. If a launch underperforms, the partnership doesn't automatically scale — we'd rather tell you that now than after you've announced a second drop.

A merch deal puts your logo on a garment someone else designed and sells it while the attention lasts. We build a brand: its name, its identity, its trademark registered in your name, its own product line, its store and its next three collections. At the end of a merch deal you have some artwork. At the end of a first year with us, you have a label you own that trades on its own.
